If a seething flock of paparazzi stalking a hotel entrance in the Meatpacking District was anything to go by, we were in for a celebrity spotting.

The Black Eyed Peas emerged half an hour later, minus Fergie (damn!).... Although we weren't as disappointed as the irate photographers who each lost a good $10,000 thanks to Fergie's swindling backdoor exit.
