Our flight from Los Angeles to Newark was delayed so we missed our connection to Delhi. We took the train to New York City to take advantage of the unexpected 24 hour layover. We went sight seeing in Manhattan at Soho, the Village, Times Square, Little Italy, and Central Park.

We spent 40 minutes in line for the observation deck before I asked how long our wait would be. They estimated an additional hour and 40 minutes. We headed of to Times Square since we didn't have enough time to wait.
