No place to go tonight at least - but tomorrow we are off! To the exotic land of... New Jersey! From there, we head off on our adventure to... Queens, NY! From LaGuardia at 6am, we'll really start the first leg of our journey southbound to Guatemala!
What do I have to say now, then? Why are you reading a blog post from Millerton NY? I don't know - I have a silly tradition of writing a pre-trip blog post, so here we are.
Okay, enough fluff - here's the plan: 5 weeks in Central America. First three weeks we'll be headquartered in San Pedro la Laguna, Guatemala. Monday through Thursday, I'll be working remotely for my US clients and Sara will take spanish classes in town. On weekends, we'll take trips - you know, hike a volcano or two. After that time, our working-vacation will turn into a playing-vacation. We'll cross the border over to Belize for some kayaking, snorkeling, sun-soaking, and other tedious tasks essential to any playing-vacation. We'll keep a strict schedule of eating, sleeping and playing.
After that? Our adventure continues back in Millerton NY - where we will try desperately to find a place in the week that we'll have before March 1st.
