Fell asleep last night before Sister Act even ended. I should be punished.
Left this morning for the Four Corners, which is where Utah, Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico all meet up. I really liked it a lot. It was a lot of fun telling people that I was in 4 different states at once. Stopped in Cortez, Colorado for gas and lunch, lots of people in cowboy hats. Still more hitch hikers which I find so bizarre. Unfortunately for them, there's no room in the car. At one point yesterday we passed a really tiny gas station, and the sign out front said, "Lotto-Guns-Ammo-Beer". Ah yes, all of the necessities. It continued to rain all day today which was kind of lame, but at least it was not a million degrees like yesterday and the day before.
Eventually ended up in Albuquerque, New Mexico after another stop for gas. Though we only saw one important thing today, the landscape of all of these states is still worth the drive. It's just so incredible how different everything is from back at home. I really like the plateaus, it's like you're driving along with the flat desert and can see this level raised up in the background, it's just really cool.
Tomorrow we have another extremely long drive, heading to San Antonio, Texas to see the Alamo. Any parts of the trip that I'm not driving, I will be sleeping in the car. I felt bad about doing that when we first started, but anyone that has spoken to me while I have been on this trip knows EXACTLY why I'm sleeping in the car.
I would like to mention though, seeing all of these states is great and everything, but I'll take Jersey any day :-)
