Today we hitchhiked to ...well....
The plan was going from Albany to Scranton, Pennsylvania. The day started good and after we got dropped off at a gas station south of Albany, we got after 5 minutes a ride from a very nice guy who drove us ca 35 miles, later on we haven't been that lucky. We got a ride from a very friendly truck driver, who was willing to take us to Scranton, but he needed to go to New Jersey first to drop his load. We decided to go with him since we would come all the way to our destination and see some of the country. But unfortunately somebody, who saw him picking us up, called the police so we got first stopped on the highway where everything was fine and later when he delivered his goods he got to know that he needs to set us off and lost his job. On this place I would like to thank him again very much and we hope that his boss will show mercy, since he just wanted to help 3 girls from europe to make their way. So we were stuck until sunset so we needed to get off the road and luckily our contact we wanted to visit in 2 days has just arrived home and could take us in already today. So we ended up in Lodi, NJ instead of Scranton, PA.

We will be sleeping in cheap accomodation, hospitality club, coach surfing and good people that we meet on the road. We are planning to learn a lot from our expe... full info
