Hampton Beach Sand Castles 2011
Today Maya and I went to Hampton Beach to view their annual sandcastle competition. This seems like it’s going to be another lousy New England summer. This the last week in June and the high temperature today was 72 degrees, it was overcast with occasional showers. Though this didn’t keep the crowds away and Hampton Beach was packed. It took a half hour to drive the two miles from Route 1 to the beach. The sand castles were good but didn’t seem to have the skill edge of the Revere Beach competition. Maya took these shots for me.

I live in Beverly ,Massachusetts with my two daughters Maya and Maxanne, and my wife Karen. Karen and I cruised up the coast and across Alaska in the summer of 2008 our daughters Maya and Maxanne joined us for the cruise part of the trip. I love to travel and experience new things.
