The beautiful gondola on the lazy river and the lilting voice of the boatman's song in a lovely backdrop. An artificially created naturally beautiful and calming place. Difficult to capture the mood and beauty of the place.
Had complimentary breakfast at the Cafe Bellagio. Sri took uncle for dialysis while we got ready. At 10.00 Sri, R and myself left by car and went to the Venetian, parked the car there and went around the Venetian and nearby hotels. We covered the Venetian, Palazzo, Wynn and Encore by 11.30. Then went to a mall and waited while Sri went to get tickets for a show. After that saw two more hotels..Treasure Island and The Mirage...walked back to the Venetian looked around some more and then came back to Bellagio by 1.30 for lunch. Went to the Olives restaurant at the Bellagio for lunch. Shanthi and aunty joined. Sri brought uncle back from dialysis and joined us at 2.30. All of us had lunch together. Then retired to our rooms and rested till 7pm in the evening.

7pm all left together by car to The Riviera. R and i had tickets for the 9.30 topless show at The Riviera. Sri dropped us there and picked us up at 10.45 after the show. Drove to downtown. Took a walk down Freemont Street and got back to the strip. Was lucky to be on time to watch the volcano at

Only his eyes move...gave me a wink! Not sure whether this was at the Venetian or it's sister hotel the Palazzo...one merges into another. In fact almost all hotels on the strip are interconnected
The Mirage..at 12 midnight, the last show of the day. I wanted to go to Caesar's Palace after that...but it was 1.00am..R was tired and so went to bed.

Sri said that originally in Italy these ceiling paintings were done by the artists lying down on wooden scaffolding and took months together for them to finish each one.
