The Luxor hotel!
Today we slept in again and hoped for another day at the pool following a brunch at IHOP just up the road which is exactly what we did! We had nutella and banana filled crepes with strawberries and whipped cream for brunch! Very good but not as filling as we would have hoped and not as good as the ones in Peru! But to be fair those were unbeatable!

We headed up to the pool after that and snipped some floaty lilo type things and literally floated for like an hour and a half on them in the pool while some very decent tunes were being pumped out of the speakers! After feeling that we were very possibly potentially burnt after that long in the water we dried off and headed back downstairs. I decided to try the Dirty Dancing 1c pokies and was a winner!!! It was so so much fun! What a great machine! I started with $10 and ended up with $60 at one point but kept playing and left with $50! Not a bad day at the office!  Unfortunately El’s attempt at blackjack was not quite as successful today!

So we then headed upstairs,

showered, dressed and headed back to main part of the strip. We got off the bus at the Fashion Show mall which was actually very cool. We didn’t have long there as we had to be back on the bus in an hour so we didn’t have to pay! I bought some Victoria Secret perfume which I have had my eye on since LA and have seen 4x and decided no you don’t need it! But this time I had to get it! And to be fair I smell amazing!!!  El bought a really nice top from French Connection! Both of us not breaking our tradition in that pretty much every time we enter a French Connection we leave having bought something! I very nearly got a dress but decided the perfume was enough of a purchase for one day!

We caught the bus right down to the other end of the strip and had dinner at Panda Express which was another fast food place we had decided we wanted to try cos it is everywhere over here! And surprisingly we loved it!! Pretty cheap and really nice! Full we headed to Mandalay Bay, checked out the hotel,

walked for a million miles to find the hotel’s shark reef only to find it cost a lot to get in so flagged. Next stop was the Luxor hotel! It was incredible! A big pyramid all Egyptian themed and so impressive! They had a Titanic Artifact exhibition inside but cost $31 just to have a look at it! We were both gutted as we wanted to check it out! We kept walking and stopped once again at the Bellagio for another water show! We ended up watching 3 and staying for 40 mins. Partly cos our feet were killing us and partly cos it is a seriously amazing show!!! Deciding wed better get a move on cos it was 10pm we continued, checked out Circus Circus and Treasure Island hotels. We were gutted cos we wanted to see the pirate show at Treasure Island but we just missed it and it was only on every hour and a half! We then headed home after a very very long arvo/evening/night walking and headed back to our hotel about 12.30am. We both wanted to get up on top of the tower to check out the theme park and rides but after doing

a very intense security check (ridiculous!) just to get up there, we saw the line and flagged! Gutted we didn’t see it all but stoked to get our killing feet and legs to bed! Early start tomorrow to get to the airport for NEW YORK!!!!! Yeah!!
