I LOVE LAS VEGAS!!!

OMG.. where do I begin? Las Vegas has so far.. by far... has been the BEST place I have visited.

I love it, I love it, I LOVE IT!!!!

It is amazing here. Its like I have stepped into a fantasy world filled with gigantic pyramids, magical castles, hotels and buildings adorned with bright lights of every colour from the rainbow.

It is totally surreal. There are planes flying in and out of Vegas all the time, helicopters in the sky, hummers, limos and LIMOHUMMERS!!, big screens filled with alluring adverts for clubs, casinos, girls, BOYS and last but not least SHOPPING.

Mikey (my travel partner) and I flew to vegas with two other girls from Cali being Suedy and Amanda. Suedy was originally from Perth, Amanda being Suedys from California.

The four of us stayed at this hotel called the Monte Carlo and it was really nice:)

The hotels here are HUGE. I have never seen anything like it. It just took my breathe away - which isnt very hard to do as you can read from my previous blogs. Each hotel is themed.. for example - There was a "New York, New York" hotel which had the brooklyn bridge, empire building and that lady that holds the fire thing, shiet I cant remember the name of it right now.. but the green statue lady!!

Then theres a hotel called Paris with a huge Eiffel tower and the entire hotel/casino has a Paris theme. So it actually looked like you were in New York or Paris.

BUT my favourite hotels was the Ceasers Palace and the Bellagio. Ceasers Palace for the array of shopping (which surprising I did not do much) and Bellagio for how beautiful it was inside and out.

The Bellagio is the hotel and casino the movie Oceans 11 was filmed at. You know the part near the end where George Clooney and the boys meet infront of this lake and this water thing shoots up into the sky?

All I can say is.. its better in real life. Absolutely STUNNING!! And definately my favourite sight seeing in Vegas. I literally stood there watching the water performance with my jaw dropped repeating the following sentence over and over.. "omg Mikey this is so beautiful"

Not only does it shoot up, but it prances and twirls and goes around this huge lake lit up by beautiful lil lights that sparkle on the water accompanied with music *sigH*.

The weather in Vegas was averaging about 45 degrees and even reached its hottest night ever recorded being 47 degrees. Growing up in Perth.. this was normal "summer" weather.. whereas in Sydney summer isnt even like Summer? It still rains *shrugs*

Also, I've been trying to tan myself and have been happily able to achieve one while in Vegas. I still want to niggafy myself as much as possible so when I come back I will resemble very much like a round lil chocolate hershey's kiss :)

Anyway, back to Vegas - seriously this place is awesome. The food, the shopping and the nightlife here is incomparable to any place I have been to so far - Sorry SYDNEY!!! Even the people are soooooooo nice here. Everyone is so lovely and nice (actually it could be because it is mandatory to tip here?).

We visited several clubs, which included Jet, Pure and Tao. I think Tao was the best bar/club which was located in the Venetian. They had a bar upstairs called the Beach which was like a huge pool party. Its like when you see Hugh Hefner throw a pool party at his place - THIS WAS LIKE THAT- BUT BETTER!!

Amanda was telling us that they totally dig accents and its true. Mikey has been "lap danced" and grinded on while on a stationary chair by american women! EWWW.

To tell you the truth - LA/Hollywood was abit ghetto and the nightlife wasn't that great. Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills was nice, but seroiusly.. how many LV, GUCCI and Tiffany & Co stores do you see anywhere else in the world?

Dont get me wrong, LA was nice but 5 days was definately enough. The music in Sydney is heaps better than LA and I was starting to get a tad dissapointed until I met VEGAS :)

All four of us had a total blast in Vegas and we all have some unforgettable memories that can never be relived again haha. The Americans have a saying here "WHATEVER HAPPENS IN VEGAS - STAYS IN VEGAS". I totally understand why now. I leave you with several capturing words that will always remind me of Vegas - Alcohol, dramas, wheelchair, boys and the word "NO"!

p.s Big shout out to Suedy and Amanda for taking us out during our trip in LA and Vegas. Mikey and I had a great time with you girls. THANK YOU SO MUCH for putting up with us. Especially to Amanda who now thinks Australians are REALLY, like REALLY strange. Miss you girls already :))
