Travelling to where I thought I was

Good morning. So the plan today is that I'm going to Jefferson City, MO, about a 40 minute drive from here. I decided as I am so close I may as well hit the State Archives there and see if I have any luck. They close at 5, so I'll head back here and hit the State Historical Society again as they're open uptil 9pm tongiht (assuming I'm not too too overloaded). I'm excited but uncertain what I will find. I'd love to find grandpa's parents marriage registration, but as registration wasn't required by law until 1910 in Missouri I don't know if I'll find anything. For that matter I'd love to find grandpa's grandparents (that'd be Samuel H. and America) marriage registration.
It is slightly more likely that there will be land deeds to be found, but the trick there will be that I have no idea of dates (except maybe for those occuring after a parent's death). Ah well, I'll take what ever I can find. I'll be keeping an eye out for Turnbough (Annie Mary), Nesbit (America), and Painter names and try to copy them all...then figure out who fits into what tree later when I'm hope. LOL!
Well, it's 7am and the Archives open at 8 so off I go!
