6/24/13 - Got started around 10am, BUT trip got delayed a bit as one of Jack's jacks had fallen and would not raise. Jack seemed loose within it's tube. Electric jacks and this one could be lifted up, but simply fell down when jarred a bit. We decided to remove the "shaft" of the jack. We first attempted to run the motorhome up on ramps, but could not get it high enough. We then came up with a "McGyverism" and ran the motorhome over and ingound firepit then put it up on ramps. Did this and when Jack jarred the offending jack, the shaft fell down and into the firepit. A little packup of boards and such, we were on our way.
Temp was 84 degrees when we left, but shortly fell to 64 degrees as we entered heavy fog. We were running right along the lake.
Pulled into Wal-Mart in Woodru
