In Boston ist alles Revolution. In Gedanken zumindest.

So we've had a couple of weekends off now and I thought I'd fill you guys in on all the fun things we've been doing outside of camp! So the first weekend we went to 'Downtown Plymouth' and saw all the sights there. There's this place called Plymouth Rock where supposedly the first Pilgrims landed. It's a rock about the size of a classroom table shaped like an over sized pebble with a date on it... i think it might be 1625 I'm not sure... It's not as exciting as you might think. They also have a bunch of pilgrim style [View Full Entry]

Thursday , July 9 2009 - The Tall Ships were in Boston for the weekend so Maya and I took the blue line into town for a walk around the harbor. There are 45 tall ships in town for this event spread out from one side of the harbor to the other. Unfortunately we were limited for time because we had to be back home early to celebrate Max's birthday party. So with the time restraints the only boats we got to see were those situated from the aquarium to the fish pier. Fortunately it was a clear dry day for [View Full Entry]

So heading out East again tomorrow evening (or today I should say as it's past midnight) around six. I should get in around eleven, all things going according to plan. And ah, yes, I have yet to pack, should be a fun morning come seven hours from now. Just got back from mini golfing out at Vitense with my roomies (and newly engaged couple ) John and Kelley. Of course I got my ass handed to me(well, not really but I did come in third out of three players) and then we went over to Dennis' and surprised him for his [View Full Entry]

Weve had a very relaxed few days, sitting in the park, going to the cinema and lazily wandering around shops and aquariams. Its been lovely Boston is a beautiful city but unfortunatly its RAINING like no mans bussiness. Not much else to write really not much happening, doing the freedom trail tommorow when it brightens up a bit. Just had a lovely pizza for tea and were still eating a lot of bagels. Yesterday was our last day in New York, we had a lazy sunny morning in Brooklyn. Came back to pack in the afternoon and got incredibly lost. Even though we catch the same train to the right street we still seem to end up at a different station each time! We spent the afternoon in central park and later met up with Lucy's friend whose doing a summer camp here for some dinner. We went to a lobster place, Imogen ate a potato. We then wandered a few blocks down for the famous Macy's fireworks, they were amazing. We had an [View Full Entry]

What a full day! We started with a great breakfast at our hotel here in Randolph, MA which is a suburb of Boston. Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, pastries, yogurt, cereal, etc. We left the hotel at 8:30 to pick up our tour guide, Scott. He is a licensed tour guide for the Boston area and knew seemingly everything about the city and was with us all day! We started with a walking tour of an old Italian part of town. Along the way we saw the famous Paul Revere statue and had a tour of the Old North [View Full Entry]
