Its been more than 6 months in the new spot here in Boston. Overall a refreshing experience, with new discoveries abound. Loving the scene up here, missing you all, so hopefully this is a decent way to send a mass-email with photos. Right now in the middle of a hellstorm of schoolwork, so this blog serves as part procrastination and part catharsis. I am so good at the Boston accent. I can say it all: clam chowdah, Haavid, Bawston. It's a beautiful thing really. Actually, I'm terrible. In fact, I am pretty sure my "Boston accent" sounds more Jamaican than Bostonian. But if I went to Harvard, I think I could perfect it. And let me just say it: I love Harvard. I want to go here for law school. Of all the places I've considered for law, only Stanford holds a place in my heart like Harvard does. With 4 days off Dad decided to take me to see some good friends of his and their families. It is probably the last trip before the big trip this summer to India and Nepal. After daddy worked, he picked me up from school and we went to the Fort Lauderdale airport. Our plane was late, and we didn't arrive to Boston until after midnight. Tickets are purchased- now we're just anxiously awaiting our departure to the land of Palm Trees, Luau's, Tiki Bars, Mai Tais, and (sexy?) hawaiian men.... 17 weeks to go! Hi, It´s now 5 PM local time in Antigua, Guatemala. I've been here for two full days. but before I describe my trip and tell you about Antigua, here are some photos of my last days in Boston. My trip to Antigua was eventful, as I almost missed the connection in Miami because my flight from Boston took off late due to ice on the wings. Here are some photos of my stay in Boston which will tell you what I've been up to in the last few days. What you won't see is the theater performance Pam and I are going to see tonight: It's called "Bread and Puppet" and is done by seven puppeteers from Vermont who'll be accompanied by a local Boston brass band. Four weeks from today is when my journey to Peru will begin! I've decided to get at travel blog so my family, as well as my teachers and friends at school could stay updated with my travels before I return home for graduation! Friday 11th January: Had a half day today but Kev had to go off and do some paperwork, so it took me 100 minutes to get home by public transport in the rain and had a message from Ryan when I got home.
