I finished my high schools exam on 27th November 08 and headed straight away to the ticket agency. Paid a good U$2000.00 for a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Newark,New Jersey Via Stockholm. So I left on December 1st 2008. I arrived at Newark airport about 6pm eastern time on the same day. Spent a whole night at the airport sleeping at the cafeteria. Had an apple pie from Mcds as breakfeast. As soon as sun rised I took a cab for 80 bucks to the Fung Wah Bus Terminal in Chinatown, downtown Manhattan to catch a bus to Boston. The bus ride caused 15 dollarsand lasted about 4 hours. As soon I arrived in Boston South Station, took a commuter train to Worceter to crash at my brothers place! Finally a good rest after a long 36 hours of journey. So 3 days later I went to Boston the same way to get to New York City to see some sights. I reached New York at about noon. Had lunch at Chinatown. Then took a cab to Toy R Us in times square.. Spent a good one and a half hour there looking over some stuff for christmas. After that I got some shots around Times Square when it also started snowing. After that I took a stroll along 49th street passing Rockefeller Plaza. I got in and manage to purchase a Peter Petrelli action figure and also a Heroes shirt which came to about 46 dollars. The hostel was located on 46th street so I took my time making my way there. I checked in around 7pm and headed staright for dinner at a subway outlet. Then staright to bed. Next day was 5th Avenue! Shopping paradise. I bypasses St patrick's Cathederal and also did some shopping at The NBA store. Walking up north I went into FAO Schwarz. I went to central park for more strolling. Then minutes later i caught a cab and went Back to the Fung Wah Bus Terminal.
December 21st 08. I had bought tickets for a Boston Celtics game which I had to get to the Boston Gardenby m own for the first time. I took the 2pm train from Worcester to Boston which was delayed by an hour. Reached Boston around 5pm and took the T to North Station. Got there in time and it was a good game, the Celtics winning 126 to 109. I also managed to get a Celtics Broadcaster's autograph and took a shot with him. Now last week in December, I decided to take a Fenway Park tour before I left back for Malaysia. The tour was scheduled for 11am. So I had another like 45 minutes before it started. I took a walk around the ballpark then look around the souvenier store with not much cash in my pocket although I wanted to get the new Red Sox alternate cap. The tour was more or an audio tour not much walking which caused 8 dollars. It showed the history of the Boston Red Sox and other stuff. At the end of the tour the group got to take some pics at the stands.
First week of January, gotta catch my flight back Malaysia. Well the return fliught was quick. And my results for the high school examinations was 10As YAY! :) So up next Singapore.
