9/17/11 - Plymouth, MA & Plimoth Plantation
53 degrees this morning.
Went to Plymouth Rock and the town of Plymouth. We all, Shelby, Aleta, Jack, & Barbara; had lunch at the wharf - Cabby Shack. Ordered pizza. Later we took a tour to the Plimoth Plantation. Asked about the difference in spellings and was told that during those times there really were no rules on spelling and Plimoth was the favorite of some then. The tour was exciting to see the way people lived in the 17th century. All the villagers were in character of that time and were very interesting to talk with as they conveyed no knowledge of times since the times in which they lived.
Jack cooked stuffed bell peppers, Aleta's lima beans, and biscuits for supper.
