Shopping, Dinner and The Drive in Movie Theatre

Me and April went to the mall shopping today after doing all my washing (As it was my last day figured i should do some before running out of clothes!) Janelle came to meet us which was really fun as she'd worked at the camp with us three years ago so it was nice to catch up with her, last year we had gone to visit her in Annapolis so this time she came here! We looked round Macy's, American Eagle and tons of other shops and we got a pretzel from Pretzel Twister which was soooo good I love American food!! ha ha
After shopping we thought we were just gonna head home and grab some dinner at home but their dad Norman wanted to go out for a meal so me April and her mum and dad went to Basta Pasta for dinner (Lynn was working again booo!!). When we got there the girl said it would be 10, 15, 20 minutes for a table me and april thought this was hilarious and kept adding to the time your table could be 10 15 20 25 30 minutes!! We went to the Bar and got drinks by the time all four of us got drinks our table was ready the barmaid was new and it took her forever bless her! Me and April each had a drink called Bay Breeze which is Malibu, pineapple juice and cranberry juice which i'd never tried before but it was really nice! The Dinner was really yummy although there was so much food all us girls ended up eating just under half of our meals so took the rest home in boxes!!
Then we drove to the Drive in Movie Theatre I have to say I was mega excited about going as last year we didn't make it! We were a bit worried about getting lost and missing the movie again but we got there just after 8.30pm and the film was supposed to start at 8.45 it started about half hour later after you had the introduction to Bengie's Drive in Movie Theatre which was like we were back in the 50's i think it might have been an original film introduction from back in the day and they had a little voice over to bring it back to today then they played a bugs bunny cartoon random but all part of the fun! It had started raining on the way there and we were worried that when the film started we'd have to keep putting the windscreen wipers on but it amazingly stopped raining but when the film started it was really crazy as there was lightening storm behind the screen it was great and created extra atmosphere lol and then to our right there were fireworks being let off, quite distracting as they were really pretty i had to keep drawing myself away back to the film!! The film we watched was Hancock which was quite good it had some funny parts but we got a bit confused in parts too lol! It was like a Will Smith marathon weekend after watching I robot last night and Hancock tonight!
You can actually stay to watch three movies in one night but we didn't want to see the other two but if you did it would be well worth it as you just pay the price of one movie like you would in a normal cinema!! They even have a snack bar which has hot dogs popcorn soda's and you can get merchandise too i really wanted a tshirt but the one i wanted wasn't in small and the medium looked huge but you can buy them online so i might get one yay! I wish we had Drive in's they are so much cooler than Cineworld lol!
