God bless America
it is sweet to be home,
under that flag of stripes and stars.
I never knew how good the states are until I left for so long.
Now I can see the good.
Of course there's bad too...
well, here I am back in the good ol u s of a, and I have to say it feels good. I got my piano back, I been playing a lot, and I just been relaxing, and it was just what I needed. So, my trip is over. Now it's time to chill out and move on to that next phase of life. I got my website back up and it's at

I got a bunch of music and stuff up there, and I plan on putting more. See, now I wanna record some more songs. After being so long on vacation, 13 months, I ready to work. I really missed being able to do my work, which I couldn't do abroad. Very rarely I got to record. What I did get to do, was write a bunch of songs, so it worked out, because I was limited to writing, thus all my creative energy

went into that and playing my guitar. I'm the kinda person thinks everything happens for a reason, and I just have to be thankful for the way things work out. It feels so good to be home.
At first I was worried I would have reverse culture shock, as I was just travelling for 13 months. But the opposite happened. Everything felt really comfortable and easy here. I was pretty traveled out. But I'm glad I made it as far as I did, and I felt my trip was totally complete.
So now I'm just wrapping up this blog.
In argentina, I got to see my friend Flo, her family has been friends with our family for ages. It was really neat seeing Flo and hanging out with her husband Coco, and meeting her daughters--she's a mom now! After that, I had a terrible sore throat and found myself unable to travel anymore, so I just went home. It was perfect, because seeing Flo and the family was the last thing I wanted to do in my trip. After that it was complete.
Yet there were still surprises for me--I met up with some old friends
airport of BAman, a perfect piano and perfect jam to see me off onto me homecoming. It was so nice to play this thing. I played for about an hour. Then this other pianist came as well, and we did a jam with both o
... [more]in the hostel, I never woulda expected to see. We hung out the day, and even as crappy as I was feeling--i think i had strep--they made me laugh. I mean, we really cracked up. They were a bit under the weather too, for they've been travelin about a year as well. We talked about how tough we have it, we travelers...poor us.
So, I never got to mention how that conference was in uruguay. Very interesting. I've never been in so many group massages. OK, one of the weirdest parts was when they blindfolded us in a gymnasium, then told us to go around and caress the first person we come into contact with. Then we formed these big circles of people caressing eachother "suavamente" that is, smoothly. It wasn't sexual or anything, but really interesting. Another one I really liked, was we had three people smack our bodies simultaneously with their hands. We took turns doing it. When it was my turn, oh boy! It was pretty cool. Other than that, we would share stories, do lots of alternative stuff. It was really neat! I'd never been to anything like that. So, I got to meet lots
of uruguayans, and make some really nice friends.
So that's it. I'm going to show you some pictures of what home is to me, so you guys can see...
