At 5:30Am I woke up and took the 8:00AM plane to Newark, NJ than another to Boston, Massachusetts. My first impression of Boston was that everything was so modern and artistic, the "Logan" airport is probably the biggest I've seed yet. So far I'm already two days into the assembly, It's been interesting, I finally manage to make some friends, one of them managed to start a conversation with me by saying I looked like a lost circus girl sitting on the trunks while I was waiting for my mother's friend's husband to get the car from a hardcore parking lot traffic jam. He says (his name is David by the way) that he was gonna try to look for me tomorrow, oh well at least I won't be bored. The buildings here in Portland are beautiful, I really love seeing houses made out of brick, it reminds me of Lego's. :)
Today the weather here was a little too cold than I'm used too, 55F. I don't even own an air conditioner so I'm not prepared physically for this temperature, good thing I got a good jacket. Tomorrow is the last day of the convention, I need to get 3 phone numbers and or e-mail address from sad unsuspecting teenage male victims as a goal. I'm sad to say I've made no progress. I must make Meryl Proud. And for those who do not know her she is a crazy American surfer in my Congregation in Puerto Rico, she also happens to be the one that made me have such a Weird promiscuous goal.
I bought a cool red beanie hat made by a local here in this store that is oddly dedicated in making hats only (I find this very curious, naturally) and a cool looking vintage brooch at a antique shop nearby my hotel (Eastwood Hotel BTW). For some one as frugal as me this is probably an accomplishment. Gotta give me props man.
