Gday again!

Fantastic day here. Started with a great bus trip around Arcadia National Park, then we decided to do our own thing. 16 km hike through the park in some of the most fantastic scenery we have ever seen. It reminded us that that is one of the reasons we came here at this time.

Perfect day again helped a lot but it was especially nice to get away on our own. Its a good group but with 52, it can be a bit taxing .......

Mainly Americans, about 8 Aussies 6 kiwis 4 Poms and 2 Isrealis. Reckon thats nearly a United Nations Quorum.

Bar Harbor is a beautiful spot but it was a little overawed today with two major cruise ships and one smaller ship in pouring their guests ashore. Really stretched all of the facilities.

The GPS came into its own today as the park shuttle closed down for the year yesterday (Columbus Day) so we had to find our own way into the park by foot - then find our way around and our way back. It was fabulous!
