We Made it to Maine!!

Well, we finally made it to Maine!! We pulled into our campground about 3:30 pm today. By Sally's calculations we drove a total of 3,200 miles to get here. We spent two days in Nashville visiting two of my sisters who live in the area. Saturday my sister and brother-in-law took us to the 2012 CMA Fan Festival in downtown Nashville. Lots of concerts all over town. We saw Bucky Covington and Kelly Pickler along with several new and unknown groups trying to break into country music. It started raining on Sunday afternoon... Left Nashville on Monday morning, still raining.... Spent Monday night just north of Roanoke Virgina, still raining... Left Roanoke Tuesday morning and spent Tuesday night in Plattskill New York, still raining... Left Platskill this morning and drove to Richmond Maine, rained all day. I can now say that I am sick of the rain and look forward to sunny days. It's supposed to clear up tonight and be sunny during our week here in Maine. We are going to Perkins Cove tomorrow so I should have pictures then. Temperature here is 60 degrees with low tonight in upper 40's. Eat your hearts out!!
