Day two of the Keating Klan annual hunting experience. The day started at 4:15, with a knock on the door. “Rise & Shine” . We got up, got dressed almost ready to head for the fields, but went down to breakfast to get a hearty start on the day, and to find out who we are going to be hunting with, and who our guide is going to be. Got out gear and headed back down to meet the guide. Today, I had the pleasure of hunting with Mark, Joy's husband. This was his first duck hunting trip, and it was a good one. Keating Boys Duck Hunt in Hackberry Louisiana, 2009 James, we miss having you with us. Arrival Friday afternoon, we met at the lodge. With wonderful weather, we sat outside and visited, waiting for the other members of the group to arrive and caught up on what was happening in our friends and relatives lives. After sitting down to a meal of fresh garlic bread, etoufee, butter beans, carrots, iced-tea, and blueberry topped cheesecake, we all retired back upstairs to continue visiting before going to bed.
