Desserfest/Skype

I just got the laptop set up that I'll be taking w/ me.. well I got the wireless internet to work on it. Anyways, I downloaded Skype so I can talk to anyone for free who also has it on their computer. I"ll be able to call landlines for dirt cheap - like $.024 a minute, with like a $.03 connection fee, so pretty cheap. My username is jess.ender.

Dessertfest went wonderfully. It was a lot of fun, I had a girl from Florida AMU stay with me who is going to Iwakuni Japan, where I was going. I tried to introduce her to the ones who are going there but it got really crazy and she didnt' get a chance to, however I did give her there names so she can try to get ahold of them on Facebook. I haven't met anyone going to Tokyo Embassy yet, but I'm hoping to. I know one that is going to another base in Tokyo though. Since I'll be in a place where everyone wants to visit we're going to all try to get together sometime. Theres quite a few going to Japan Mainland. So anyways, about dessertfest. We had desserts, and then some speakers which I thought were pretty good and I think everyone really got to see and understand what Camp Adventure is all about. Then we sang our songs, there was some skits (I was in the Bee Skit - based on the movie), and we did a closing. Sorry to all that got bored during awards, but it takes a lot to put this on and I'm sure everyone of them deserved it.

We really got applauded at training last night. Dr. E said that it was the best one yet. He said he was looking for 2 things, people crying and for everyone to stand up during God Bless America.. BINGO! We got them both.. Mom was balling like a baby during God Bless America, but that's okay its suppose to be like that. There were plenty of others crying too, its a very touching event. Well, I better get going, I"m going to go hang out with my fellow Red Group members at the WRC, we're going to play raquetball and rock climb!!! FUN FUN!
