I'm actually surprised that the kids didn't mention "Jill" in their journals. Jill is a persistent voice who definitely tells you where to go. In our case, she says she's "recalculating" quite a bit. The kids call it her "seizures." Mark was saying last night that he can't figure out how we ever managed to travel without Jill in the past, although we still had to get the map out once. - Rhonda
We're on our way for the second day in a row! For breakfast we ate at Waffle House. It was O.K not the best I have ever had. Garmin has already had 11 seizures today and its only 10:07. We stopped at the J Taylor auto collection. We didn't get to go in but we peeked through the window and it was awesome!!!! Next we went to the buffalo trail distillery and got some cool pics! We got one of me, mom and sissy doing the Captain Morgan, it was funny! Then we ate at the Flanagans Pub I thought the food was good. Then we went to Colonel Sanders grave it took us a while to find it but we found it and he died 17
years and 7 days before I was born and his wife died 11 years before I was born. So I learned some history today about KFC. - Danny
Welcome to Day Two of the Big Trip, did you see all those capitals? Anyways, we started out at nine-ish again. I had a searing headache, as is the case when I get extremely hungry, so we had to stop and eat. After breaking the fast, we went to the first attraction of the day, a car museum thing. Unfortunately, it was closed. That’s pretty understandable, it is a Sunday, but then again, its hours were Thursday X time to X time and Saturday X time to X time. Oh, well. Now we’re off to our next attraction, somewhere in Kentucky. I didn’t get the chance to take the picture beneath the Kentucky sign; it was off the edge of the highway. As of this point in time, I have naught else to say. Updates later.
Well, we tried to stop at a Bourbon Distillery, but, being Sunday, it was closed. But the nice gentleman that was at the gate let us in so we could get a picture of the

XD So after that we began the drive to Kentucky, the next attraction was Kentucky’s worst food. Unfortunately, or fortunately (we’ll never know), the restaurant had closed. That was the third time we had struck out, and we had only tried to visit three places that day. The next stop was Colonel Sanders’ grave. We parked on the wrong side of the massive graveyard, so we just went and ate at an Irish Pub - that was the one type of restaurant that seemed to show up everywhere, like a centralized Starbucks. After we ate, we went to look for Colonel Sanders’ grave, again. We got lost, again. So we stopped and asked a Security Guard where Colonel Sanders’ grave was. We got there, and it was about as interesting as a grave can be. Actually, graves are pretty interesting, but Colonel Sanders’ wasn’t. We did find The Magician’s (we never did find out what his name was) and that was a cool one. He

had a nice bronze statue marking his, and a poem on the stone slab. He looked like a cool guy, his hand was extended and he was wearing a nice tux. One of the locals said when he died, all the magicians came and went to his burial. Now, we’re on our way to St Louis, Missouri. I think that is all the attractions for today, until St Louis. I don’t even think we’ll get to St Louis today anyways, Mom and Dad said we’re going to stop before we get there. Well, if anything interesting happens on the way to the hotel (wherever that is) I will be sure and update when we get to the hotel. I think I will update when we get there anyways. Have a nice afternoon.
Welcome to the Best Western. This chair isn’t comfortable, either, but at least it’s just a pool chair, and thus not supposed to be comfortable. My whole family is in the pool and I’m sitting here typing this for you. You may have noticed that there was no internet at the last hotel, but hey, we have some today. So Mom and Dad are going to upload this (maybe I’ll be able to check my myspace) and then life will continue. I will see you on the flipside of dusk. - April
p.s. If you want to see a rough map, see our entry on July 18. I can't figure out how to make one map for our entire trip and have it move to each entry. So I'm just updating the map on July 18.

Love the pics keep them coming.
I've asked Mark a couple of times if he wanted me to drive, but he always says no. You know how he is, gotta be in the driver's seat. As for the pictures, trust me there are more that we aren't posting. We're saving those for the "slide show."
