1. Summarize your articleThere is something called the "Honour" killings of women. Women in Bangladesh, Britain, Brazil, Ecuador, Egypt, India, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Pakistan, Morocco, Sweden, Turkey and Uganda. are getting killed for things that are perceived as immoral behavior. Such as, marital infidelity, refusing to submit to an arranged marriage, demanding a divorce, flirting with or receiving phone calls from men, failing to serve a meal on time, or "allowing herself" to be raped.2. How does your current event relate to topics or ideas that we have discussed in world history. Explain fully.This current event relates to ideas discussed in class because we have talked about gender roles and how some religions make decisions based on their beliefs. In this case women are being killed because they are women. So in this article we can see how women are being killed because of their gender and nothing is do e because of the beliefs. It is believed women should not do anything to get attention in any way or else it is their fault.3. Is there evidence of cause and effect in your article? How so?There is a Taliban movement, this allows for this practice to continue, which is in erasing the number of deaths in "Honour" women.4. What powerful questions does your article make you ask?
