I love reading this in the lights.
Me and my friend Doug are off to another Pearl Jam concert. This will be my 11 time seeing them I think. We left around 1:20:07am----Destination: United Center. It is a long but well worth it drive to see the best live band(IMO). I was not very bright the night before because I got like zero sleep. This meant that I was up a very long time and all of my days were so screwed up after the show. Okay back to the ride: It sucked. We got lost a little in St. Louis, but I think we gained time. We made it up to Naperville, IL. His aunt lives there and she was so kind. She made us breakfast and opened her house up like it was our own. Doug decided to take a little nap before we challenged the Chicago roads. I was too wound up to even think about getting any sleep. His aunt writes down directions from her house to the United Center which were excellent. But, I suck at written directions that list streets as guide markers. I need the "you need to turn left at the church with the white roof and the red brick front that has a sign out front that uses the wrong form of the word -too-." I am good with landmarks. Anyways, we get lost and it wasn't fun but it only set us back like twenty minutes. We finally find the United Center and park but the concert is still like four hours away. We walked around a little and hung out in the parking lot with fellow fans. When the show finally started, it was fantastic.

Here is the setlist:

Release, World Wide Suicide, Life Wasted, Severed Hand, Comatose, Given To Fly, Low Light, Corduroy, I'm Open, I Got Id, Even Flow, Unemployable, Daughter/ (W.M.A.), Present Tense, Do The Evolution, Jeremy, Save You, Porch

1st encore: You've Got To Hide Your Love Away, Better Man, Come Back, State Of Love And Trust, Black, Alive

2nd encore: Go, Blood/ (Atomic Dog), Indifference, Baba O'Riley, Yellow Ledbetter

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing. Here are the few photos that I took of the united center and the upcoming moments before the PJ Show.
