U LUCKY DAWGThis was where we stopped to try an authentic Chicago hot dog. It was pretty much a regular hot dog, with lots of hamburger toppings. Mine was topped with JalapeƱos, onions, tomatoes and a bunch of other junk that I can't seem to remember. All in all, it was just so-so.
Double DeckerThis is one of the double decker tour buses. We took the tour and saw A LOT! Definately worth doing :) After that tour, I feel like I know Chicago well enough that I could give the tour myself!
PlaneI took this pic from the plane. I kept the end of the wing in there for an artsy effect :)
Lyric Opera of ChicagoThere is a funny story behind this building. There was once a very rich man whose wife wanted to be an opera singer. Nobody would hire her because apparently she wasn't very good. So, her rich husband built this opera house for her to sing in. The top of the building is shaped like a high back chair. This was meant to be a symbolic gesture, the man was turning his back to the people who would not employ his wife.
Navy PierThis was sort of like Santa Cruz Beach Board Walk. They didn't have a lot of rides and games but they did have a lot of restaurants. They also had a ton of boats that offered different types of tours. It was so pretty there
RiverI took this picture from the top of the Sear's Tower. That is the Chicago River in the middle.
