Awesome times on Oahu!

Hey everyone!

This blog is going to be super short... I'm using Katie's laptop and internet here is ridiculously expensive! I'm having a brilliant time in Hawaii I'm definitely overusing the word 'awesome' to describe it, my mum can confirm this.

So far I've had a surfing lesson, a ukulele lesson and been to the 'Wet n' Wild' waterpark... Katie and I have met some interesting people... she speaks fluent Japanese which is ideal in Hawaii as there's a ton of Japanese tourists here. We've been on a pub crawl and met some US Marines who are stationed here... one of them taught her to swing dance... but I'm already a pro after my lesson in Australia, obviously!

The weather is perfect, loving every second of it! Oh and there's so much amazing food here, just had a 'Cold Stone' ice cream, so good! And we went to the Cheesecake Factory last night (they do meals as well as awesome deserts). We went to the Hard Rock cafe on the first day we arrived and we're going back tomorrow as it's my last night in Hawaii and I'm a big fan of the cocktails there!

I can't believe my week here is nearly over. I'm going to miss Katie, we've spent every day together for 2 weeks now. It feels strange when people come and go out of your life so quickly, all part of the 'travelling' experience though. I'm sure we'll stay in touch.
