Day's 3 & 4

Hi All,

Due to us being a bit on the pink side we decided to stay out of the sun yesterday. Our prayers were answered because although it was warm it was overcast and we even had some rain which lasted for a couple of hours or so. As it was a rest day we took it easy and did a little shopping, booked some tours and watched a film.

Yay the sun is back!! :O)

Today we went to the Kualoa Ranch approx 45 min drive from Waikiki which on the way there took us past quite a few places where parts of movies had been shot, such as Karate Kid 2, Drew Barrymore's home from 50 first dates including the dock and Lost to name but a few.
At the ranch we signed up for two activities, the movie ranch tour and the ATV (All terrain vehicle).
Some of the film locations we saw included Lost, remember Hurley finding golf clubs?, the famous scene from Jurassic Park where they run down the hill and hide behind the fallen tree was instantly recognisable and the scene from 50 first dates where the penguin gets run over. There are still some of Godzilla's footprints still to be seen, which they have had to partially fill in because some of the cattle from the ranch would fall in at night.........lol
The ATV drive was awsome, it was really cool driving off road if not a bit hairy at times. Great fun and would do it again!! :O)

We returned to the hotel around 2:30pm and decided to go and look for the crazy golf we played on 10 yrs ago. After spending some time wandering around we found the location, howerever it now looks like a hotel :O( Some boring old fart called Hilton thought he would make more money from a hotel than a crazy golf, I mean what planet is he living on man!! ...........lol
