Today was another pretty short drive. We only had one stop and arrived in Savannah at about 12.30pm. A few of us went to grab a bite to eat and play some pool before our trolley tour of the city. The tour was actually very interesting, the problem was everyone was so tired that it was a struggle to stay awake. The best part was seeing the spot where the Forrest Gump bench was located. The bench isn't there anymore unforatunately, but you can tell that it was the right spot. After the tour I had a snooze for a couple of hours before we all head to Outback Steakhouse for dinner. It's safe to say they have no idea what Aussies actually eat, but the food was nice. I ordered a rib eye steak, wich was so nice, but it was really fatty too. It came with a sweet potato topped with butter, honey and sugar, which was really yummy.

After dinner we had our 80's night. Unfortunately the two people who I planned to go as (Richard Simmons and Slash) turned out to be too hard to source the outfit, so I ended up going as MC Hammer. Everyone else had really good costumes so I felt as if I didnt put in enough effort, but people still liked it so that was ok. Since it was a karaoke night, of course I sang "U Can't Touch This" as well as "Enter Sandman" with Moe, and "Desperado". It turned out to be a really fun night, everyone got into the spirit of the night and most people sang a song, so at some stage everyone was a bit embarrased.

Tomorrow we head to Raleigh, where I should be meeting up with Jaclyn, so I'm really looking forward to that.

Hey everyone. I've been travelling for a while now, mostly with family. They have always encouraged me to keep journal entries for my trips, which I can now look back on and reminisce about the trips I've had. Now that I'm travelling on muy own, I figured that this would be a good way for family to keep in touch with what's happening on my trip as well as to keep it journalled.... full info
