Our temporary home

We have been here for 2 months now. We are settled in our apartment and it feels like home. We already have had visitors: Jason, Josh and of course the granddaughters Lola and Bella. We really like it here...not to live forever but for a one year contract it is nice. We live in Midtown which is definitely city life. We walk to restaurants, parks, coffee shops. We sit out on our balcony and listen to the city sounds. Fortunately our balcony backs up to some huge beautiful pine trees. People in Atlanta are really friendly and nice. It's definitely kinder in the south.

My job is great. Everyone is really nice and I like what I am doing. Ken is busy being my PA (Personal Assistant) which is really, really nice. I know why people have them now. I don't do laundry, clean or run errands. It makes you realize how those things take up a lot of time in your life. He does keep busy going to the park each morning to exercise.

I have included some pictures of our apartment. It is totally decorated from IKEA. It's amazing how cheaply you can create a warm, cozy place to live. I love IKEA. We feel like college freshmen!

We will be going back to Tucson for Thanksgiving and Christmas; can't wait to see family and friends.
