Day 6 - Clouds, Claudia, and Cake

Wipeout

Jason is about the bite the big one!

We checked out of Disney’s Wilderness Resort today and headed for Universal’s Islands of Adventure about 9AM. It was a great day. We rode the Spiderman Ride first. For it, we rode in a car while wearing 3D glasses. It was probably to best ride we went on the whole trip! Sammie’s new Fossil sunglasses got stuck in the pouch on her seat and they got to ride the ride again until they could get some scissors to cut them loose! After that, we went on Popeye’s White Water Rapids. Everyone got totally soaked! I hate walking around with wet socks and underwear. We did a few other things and then headed to the 8th Voyage of Sinbad Show. It was really good with lots of stunts, fighting, special effects, good actors, and was very funny.

From Islands of Adventure, we headed for Claudia’s between 2 and 3PM. It rained pretty hard for part of the drive and Carrie and Sam saw two deer. We parked the RV at a park across the street, grabbed our stuff and laundry and headed over to Captain Charlie’s for dinner. We finally got to eat before 8 at night! From there we headed

to Claudia’s and unloaded our stuff. We got on our suits and headed to pool to relax. After swimming in the rain, we hit the Jacuzzi and then upstairs to shower and unwind. Claudia had a cake that said “Happy Everything” on it and celebrated everyone’s birthday, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and every holiday in between.

So far we’ve found license plates for 3 Canadian Provinces, Washington D.C., and 30 states. We got to Claudia’s at 6PM after traveling 170 miles. To date, we’ve traveled 1,759 miles of about 4,000 miles.
