Before we left India, Carolyn Myss said that our spirits would remain there for awhile before returning to us. I found this to be be true with Guatemala also.
Diego and I last visited the ocean. I worked with Diego and the high waves. Shortly into our session, the waves calmed. We realized this calm was part of our session. I continued to hold him with both hands, working with the currents and the waves, letting the ocean perform the moves. The next morning, it was flat as glass. We worked again, and this time Diego was able to relax his neck even more and be held by the water. Before, with the high waves, he had kept his neck out of the water, ramrod straight, as best he could. He did not want to get any water in his ears. I'd wished he would let himself let go. I noted how this event was similar to the prologue of book on craniosacral therapy in the ocean and with dolphins, TOUCH THE OCEAN, one's spin on this, "craniocean".
Before I left for Guatemala, I was lying on the shore of the ocean off of Palm Beach and leting the
waves wash me. Then I had an idea for a party, a party that would celebrate both India and Guatemala. It came up from the depths of my toes...."INDIA-MALA!". It's Tonight. And it seems a way to celebrate and accept having been at these places, and a way of letting one's spirit know it's okay to be where I am.
As Diego and James would say many times to each other, Wherever you are, there YOU are.
It will be a rather small party, but all who have enjoyed the travelblog and thoughtfully gone through the miles, even between bombings and hurricaines, are warmly invited. This is also to honor the priviliege of your consciousness being in this place at this time.

I suggested we make an optional ritual--and it was my option to not participate in it. What it ended up to be was with the tapestry. We each held that beautiful, colorful tapestry with all the chlldren of different colors holding hands around the globe, all on a white background, and we each said what we were grateful for and then shook the tapestry, all shouting, "INDIA MALA INDIA MALA INDIA MALA!"
