Rainbow OceanIt rains here and then the rainbows shine over the ocean, giving the water an amazing color!
Currently in-between travels, on an extended visit to the Palm Beaches.
Interesting the difference in the attitudes between those in California and those in Florida. In California, people get it. They want to save a great deal of money and misery so they come in right away for healing sessions, first, and go for it. Or they are overall fine and just want to rest on the table, or go to the ocean, or to dissolve oodles of stress, and free-up the fluid, core system around the spine. These in the trade are called, "well patients," and/or clients. They also get it to bring their infants and toddlers in right away for sessions. (seizure disorders, colic, cluster headaches, and so on)
On the other hand, in Florida, some few people are starting to get it, but most do not realize the amount of time, money, and needless misery that can quickly be avoided. They want to make things difficult for themselves (and their loved ones) likely out of deep seated fear of authority -- maybe that's it. There's a much greater fear of not obeying and doing as told by our authorities here (TV commercials for Meds, etc) than
in California. I'm just thinking out loud here.
(Question Everything?)
As a result, people in Florida don't get how much money and time they can save themselves or the burden on their loved ones. Respectfully (if anyone in Florida reads this :) the good people here in Palm Beach and West Palm Beach, anyway, seem almost scared of getting better -- most seem to prefer to trust their many cocktails of meds and incidental surgeries here. After a while, their doctors want them to get better too, because doctors really are sincere and well meaning people. Actually, I think it's also the dependence of the insurers that keeps the people here frightened here, and en-chained. It's really weird. What's even weirder is that there are lots of very pretty buildings and condos here, but many of them are mostly empty -- one wonders if this is somehow a symbol on the psychic or soul-level -- "nobody home?"
Something that's nice about West Palm Beach (and Palm Beach also) but mainly West Palm, is that they've kept a lot of the old buildings up here too, such as on Clematis. Up in Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter everything
1900 South OliveStreet View, Medical Offices, WPB. Lots of pretty buildings here -- many of them empty.
seems built by Alcoa or Kraft or some weird corporation. They also keep some of older "historic" areas up here. I've live in places old and new, and definitely feel that living in a place that has some history, that is older, even antique, is far better for one's health and overall well being. Not so much air conditioning? More blended with the environment? A lot of party-people like the clubs in West Palm because of some of the seedier, older buildings here -- a good thing for the town.
Living and working here in Florida is much like being in a different country than California. Like I said, there's certainly a very different attitude here toward health and healing, particularly toward Prevention -- and that says a lot about a place -- nobody seems much to care about being well, much less authentic liberation of the being. Perhaps they would prefer to stay in a rather mechanical pattern of continuing misery and crises? A lot of dependence on credentials here too and on the fame of doctors here. It's silly. Especially when the 'credentials' are not suited for the condition or health crises going on. It really comes
down to life style and point of view, doesn't it?
Makes me feel like I might need to do a series of medically based You Tube videos on the CraniOcean Channel, instead of just the videos around the first book. So it's very different than working in Europe and the attitude there too -- Canadians living here, because of the warm weather, get it for sure and show up a lot, thankfully. And as we saw in Hawaii, Kauai totally gets it.
This Facilitator is Always so grateful for those few here in FL who wake up and who get it and then go for it!
So, well, here in Florida, continuing to write the books while offering sessions to those here in this area. And thank you again so much to the readers of the books (you know who you are) and those who share the books with others - also your comments on Borders.com, and so on. It makes a small contribution. It matters. On occasion, a client or guest might fly in from California for a session here in at the office or in the Bahama Room. After a few sessions on the treatment
In Atlanta - a trip outWas invited to do a book event in Atlanta. Only a few people showed but the one-on-one was cool.
table, we might go to one of the beautiful ocean locations, and yes, everything in the book, "Touch the Ocean," is true. When someone goes into the quiet in the ocean, the waves calm and the skies shift -- I think this happens anyway, we just don't know how to notice it. So happy to offer this beautiful container for people to enjoy -- the office the ocean the green trees and nature. The ocean is also playful here, and at times, not always, there are visits from the dolphins.
The table work in the new office is, of course, different from the ocean work and both accomplish different aims. For example, TMJ work around the temporal bones of the head and jaw (temperomandibular joint) is best performed on the table, for the table provides a nice fulcrum with which to work. The ocean work is best before or after a TMJ session, much like the books demonstrate. So the treatment table is most appropriate to relieve and treat, for example --
Migraines
Sciatica
Scoliosis
Chronic Asthma
Depression
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Infant Seizure Disorder
Lymph Conditions (I and II)
Digestive Disorders (Colitis)
And Much More
The ocean opens. ...
Anyway, just checking in.
I guess what I'm saying is the best way to stay in misery is to try and avoid any discomfort. There's more inherent discomfort & challenge in California with the environment than here, if only with the amount of traffic there :) -- maybe it makes people stronger -- and smarter about their health too -- not to say there isn't much misery there too!
Oh yes, I did get to do a couple of book events in Atlanta and Asheville, NC. Doggone it, forgot to post that news here!
Journeys, sessions, and book events might start up again in LA, the Bay area, Portland, and Seattle, later in December, or Jan/Feb 2010. As soon as this Facilitator can get on the horn and arrange it all! And let them know this Work is on planet!
All is (as always) well.
