Florida State Fair Fun
Hots to Foot Massage....if only she had some What a fun day! Our first huge glass of lemonade was terrific. Our initial plan this morning was to go to a Mardi Gras parade tonight at Dunedin. But first things first....coffee at the Lazydays cafeteria since we had to be out of our RV by 8:00 AM (bummer). Always folks to chat with there. That's where we heard about the Florida State Fair going on just down the road from us at the fairgrounds....plus they said it was "Senior Day". That's us. Off we went to the fair. The parade plan was dumped. Got there around 9:00 AM and left about 6:00 PM. It was a full day. I think we walked 200 miles! My legs are worn down to nubs. I don't think we missed a thing. Even saw a Tropical Palms couple that we know. And what photo shots we had for Lulu. She pranced (best she can) and posed from one location to another. We could hardly keep up with her. Each shoot was better than the last so that is why I have so many pictures to share with you. She insisted on showing them all....far from being humble - Little Miss Show-Off. Before coming home New Friends
All Shapes & Sizes (home is where our RV is), we went to a new (new to us) pub/restaurant at the Lazydays Campground. It is designed like a big motor home which you go into and eat. The bar stools are made from stacked tire rims, the booths are like the dinettes in an RV. There is a RV porch awning over the bar....I think you get the idea. It's clever and fun. Now it's time to recuperate...we are whipped! I know now why they call it "Senior Day".....you feel 100 years old when you leave! ZZZZZZzzzzzz(falling asleep).
