Hello all! I have a lot to write about since I didn't get a chance to enter a journal in for yesterday. We left off with the saga of stained sock puppet and trash talking terry and their "adult content" happenings. The two of them had quite the hangover yesterday so they didn't come with April and I to lunch at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville or to the show to see House Of Wax in CityWalk. Good Morning! Yesterday was another quiet day in sunny Florida. April and I had lots and lots of work to do, so once again it was around 12pm (or was it 1pm) before we left our hotel to have some fun. It was time for lunch, so we decided to go to Pointe! Orlando. This shopping/entertainment complex is pretty cool. There are plenty of shops, a movie theatre, restaurants, nightclubs and a very neat attraction/museum called Wonder Works. Good Morning! It is 7:35am.....April and I are getting ready to visit several of Florida's "natural" attractions: Silver Springs Park, Blue Springs State Park, and Spook Hill (a place where your car travels uphill without it turned on or your foot on the gas or steering wheel -- people have been trying to figure out how this works for years and hey, its free....lol). Good morning from sunny Florida!! Yaay! I am SO happy to be here right now. Where is here? Orlando, FL baby! We are staying at The Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando until tomorrow (May 8 -- Happy Birth Mom and Happy Mother's Day) and then checking into Universal Orlando's Royal Pacific Resort until May 14! :) After a looooooooooooong drive from North Carolina to Orlando we were VERY excited to check into the luxurious, yet WAY relaxed, Portofino. Today was one of those "perfect days" -- the ones that are few and far between but treasured when they happen. First off, it hit me that a.) I was going to be "on the road" until the end of July b.) Who says Disney is just for kids? I just got back and I loved being at Disney World and Seaworld. We left Tuesday and had a long flying day and arrived to our rental condos in Kissimmee. We stayed in these beautiful homes that overlook a lake and have a screened in pool in the back porch. I have no complaints at all about where we stayed except maybe that the water there smelled and tasted like shit.
