After a restless night's sleep........that Matress has gotta go!!....lol Coral decided to get up, bearing in mind it was only 5am I decided that cos I was on holiday I would enjoy a lie in, so got up at 6am...lol It may have had some to do with the daylight saving too. Back in Florida again :O) We had a really good 9hr flight, seems long but it was supposed to be 9 3/4hrs so it was a welcome surprise. About 35 min and 3 toll boothes later we arrived back home :O) Dropped the luggage off and headed out to our new local supermarket (Publix). Where dreams come true... Our trip to meet Mickey and Minnie came about after we heard Tony’s brother in law, Terry, had organised a surprise holiday for his family around the same time we were in the States. So.....here I am...back at home after two fun filled weeks down South. It had been a few years since my last trip to Florida and it never disappoints. We drove down....which is tough on the butt....3 days down..3 days up. However, it's really the best way to discover the east coast and all it has to offer. Today was the day. We have officially begun our trip! Finally we get to just GO.....no more planning, packing,worrying about hurricanes...'cause we are on our way! We picked up the rental car and left in the afternoon with the first of the outer bands of Ike coming in. The weather improved as we got further north. Didn't go too far today; just far enough to get away from Ike. We aren't in a rush; we do have until Saturday before we need to be in Chicago. Da har jeg vært omtrent en uke alene som servitør, går så bra atte;) Ikke noe særlig med pauser i løpet av et 8timers-skift, så har noen knaskerøtter i lomma jeg putter i meg så fort jeg får tid. Om noen få timer skal jeg ta på meg bunaden min, sette meg inn i bilen (ja, forresten.. har leid bil:P Bare for en måned, så må leveres inn allerede 9. september. Men gud for en frihet det er!!
