Well the furniture arrived on time, and even better, they put it all in place. We did our good deed of the day by donating all the old furniture to the Salvation Army........See, we don't ebay everything ;o)....lol There is a communal yard sale on Sat. but at 7:15am we will be sitting in the pub preparing for the big match Man Utd v Arsenal. We'll only catch the second half of the sale so we'll just wonder round and see how it's done and a chance to meet the neighbours, besides we have nothing to sell now.....lol The weather here [View Full Entry]

Etter åtte år med den samme busken, ble det i dag valgt en ny president for de forente stater av Amerika. Valget sto mellom McCain, en noe eldre konservativ herremann og Obama, en afroamerikaner med løfter om et bedre og endret USA. Tittet litt på den tv-sendte opptellingen, men resultatet fikk jeg høre da jeg gikk hjem fra Commens for ca en time siden. "Whoooooo, Obama!!! Obama won!!! Whoooooooooooo!", skriker amerikanerne som bor i leilighetene rundt meg. For noen dager siden var det leaving-party for Morten og Kim, to av gutta på Patterson, som ikke er av de mange som har fått sparken, men som faktisk har valgt å dra herfra før programmets slutt. Varme ord om gutta ble fortalt, tårer falt og alkohol ble drukket = "leaving-party". Nå begynner det å bli alt for tynt i rekkene av internasjonale representanter på Patterson.. men vi har overlevd så mangt til nå, så bør vel komme oss igjennom dette og:) Selv har jeg også bestemt meg for å si opp noe før tiden. Did more shopping today but this time it was for jobs for the boys stuff! We are doing some home improvements over the next few days.....pics to follow :O) Spent another 1 1/2hrs in the pool which was great. Once again we were selected by our airline (Northwest) for extra security checks before we were allowed to board our flight to Orlando. These people seem out to get us. We arrived in Orlando at 7.40 and did the usual - find baggage carousel, collect baggage, find transfer desk, get tickets processed (very slowly) get directed to bus, get on board bus, get taken to resort. Got up later today and decided to start the day off with a swim in the pool :O) My god is it warm, 89 degrees and loving it :O) Coral and I spent about an hour and a half in there, didn't look like prunes at all.....lol Had a relaxing day today went to Int. Pinch Punch first day of the month :O) Well it was a very important day today........Man Utd were playing against Hull and the pub (about a 10mins drive from us), were showing it.....does it get any better......well it did we won 4-3 in a great game. It was only 10.45am so we had breakfast there :O). After the match today was planned as another shopping day so off to the Plantation furniture company we went, which was about a half hours drive away to replace furniture for the master & second bedrooms. Happy Halloween :O) Off to seaworld today......Wahoo!! Weather has improved from the last couple of days which were sunny but colder. Today is Sunny and bright mid 70's, nice :O) Seaworld was great fun, I went on the Kraken rollacoaster....alone...lol and Coral and I went on Atlantis which is a log ride with a twist!! Some construction is underway for a superb rollacoaster called Manta due summer 2009, I believe it is supposed to be like Air at Alton Towers.....can't wait!! After a restless night's sleep........that Matress has gotta go!!....lol Coral decided to get up, bearing in mind it was only 5am I decided that cos I was on holiday I would enjoy a lie in, so got up at 6am...lol It may have had some to do with the daylight saving too. We are only 4hrs behind at the moment. Later on that morning we decided to do a shopping session at Coral's favourite little store....Walmart....lol Well 2hrs and a trolley load later we left. Back in Florida again :O) We had a really good 9hr flight, seems long but it was supposed to be 9 3/4hrs so it was a welcome surprise. About 35 min and 3 toll boothes later we arrived back home :O) Dropped the luggage off and headed out to our new local supermarket (Publix). As we were tired and didn't fancy cooking we got 2 fantastic tasting pizza's from Papa John's it was about 12:30pm uk time.
