Day 11

This day was put aside for a day at Disney Epcot Theme Park. It was much closer to our Holiday Home, so we arrived just before
9 am. We had to pay for parking (which I believe is a bit unfair, since you are paying big money to enter the Park as well!).

Once inside we headed (past a garden with Dwarfs) to the Land area of the park to organize our fast track entry for the Soarin' ride we would do later in the day. Each person is entitled to 1 fast track entry for the day, allowing you to by-pass the normal long queues.
We took "The Land" boat ride which takes you through a greenhouse with of all sorts of fruits & a fish farm.

Next we watched a 3-D show, Honey I Shrunk the Audience (which was quite entertaining). Then we lined up in the long queue for
Spaceship Earth.

In Spaceship Earth you hop on a ride which takes you through scenes from history. During the ride pictures are taken of the riders which
are used later on to display as part of an interactive feature.

Next we went on "The Seas with Nemo & Friends" which was o.k. At the end of the ride you get the chance to view big aquariums &
some other exhibits including Sea Horses.

During the Nemo ride Ruby & Tim were separated from the rest of our group & we did not find them until about an hour later (after
many searches).

We finally met them in the World Showcase & had Fish & Chips for Lunch. The World Show case is divided in the following countries:
Canada, UK, France, Morocco, Japan, US, Italy, Germany, China, Norway & Mexico. As you walk through each country it is like being
in that country - the buildings, gardens, shops etc are all a re-creation (some of actual places). Some showcases also have street entertainers, theatre presentations & even rides.

In the evening, just before closing time, there is a show called Illuminations: Reflections of Earth. The show features a moving globe, fireworks & laser effects.

We left Epcot just after 9 pm & headed back to our Holiday Home.
