There is No YouThere is No You
There is No You

There is Only You
A big fan of Lenscrafters now. Lost first pair of reading glasses when headed out to India. They are somewhere in LA. Thankfully, took the wrong seat on the Cathay Pacific 747 and just above the seat where was sitting was... a pair of glasses. The flight attendant picked them off the back of the seat, "Are these your glasses?" Before I could say "Yes" they were in my hands. From there could read menus, maps, with this new pair of glasses perfectly throughout trip in India.

Then when departed India (morning of the New Delhi bombings, below) the eyeglasses departed me. Couldn't find them anywhere for the flight back. Back in the Palm Beaches, bought a new pair for $200 bucks. Then when went off to Guatemala to do craniosacral therapy and craniocean work, on generous invitation from a client in LA, lost them somewhere before even setting foot in Guatemala. Possibly at the airport. Then in Guate bought a new pair of $20.00 reading glasses. Then. Lost them, again, before return to the States.

Then.

Went to Lenscrafters today to buy not one but two pairs of new glasses. I can read okay without glasses, it's

just they assist to relax the eyes when on the computer for twelve hours a day, as for example when writing a book (or this travelblog). I alway buy a pair that is weaker than my actual perscription to let my eyes strenghten. If there is too little resistance force for my eyes to work against, my eyes get weaker. The classic example is of wearing an eye patch on a stronger eye when the other eye is weaker--the resistance force requires that the weaker eye become strong. Without resistance force, our bodies would drop like puddles on the ground. It is resistance, not the final result, that is the growth of our souls.

Gift of Sight.

The fellow at Lenscrafters asked about one's travels, and happened to mention that he's part of a team that goes out of the USA to places like Bolivia and Tierra del Fuego to provide eyesglasses for those who cannot afford them. Talk about perfect corporate sustainablity! These acts of generosity and kindness are largely unknown, at least to me. It's what keeps this fellow at Lenscrafters, the travel overseas to assist those in need. Here is a corporation that is working with resistance, I thought.

There is nothing wrong with corporations in and of themselves, only the purpose the corporation is on.

What is an example of a tainted purpose (no matter the "mission statement")? It can be found by observing the corporation in action.

Most corporations work hard to avoid all resistance force, that is, they work hard to gain immediate pleasure nOW and espace all pain, pain of any discomfort, all pain of being ignored or rejected by others, pain of being dissapproved of, the pain of being looked down upon by others.

Their solution, now put into law in the USA, is to gain as much Profit (profit equals pleasure) NOW. No matter the consequences. Come to think of it, are these any better than the glue sniffers of Guatemala who rob the old school buses? (below)

They may have much more money, they may not sniff glue, what is the purpose they are on?

On second thought, what I CAN do is ask,

WHAT IS MY PURPOSE?

(check it out)

I may not know what I'm doing in India, Guatemala, or the Palm Beaches, and I can know what my purpose is--no matter where I am.

And I ALWAYS know where I am.

And there are other adventures, such as in Panama, when I get a chance to post them! Multi-disciplinarian in playwriting, prose, performance, poetry, painting, applied healing arts, here I loosen up a bit, take off the healers hat, step out of the integral clinic, and blog a bit at random. water work
Hi, I just read some of your blogs. I was wondering if you happened to know any cranio therapists in the south of India. Who did you study Cranio under? I have taken three classes with Hugh Milne. Also I have experienced cranial unwinding in the water with Gary Strauss in Hawaii. (he is in Topanga) I would love to have some Cranio in India if possible. If you have any info to pass on it would be very appreciated. Thank you
