My tuna melt and other sandwiches....yum!
Today our families went their separate ways. The Fabers plus Sara headed off to the sands of Cocoa Beach. Kim usually likes to have at least one beach day while they are down here. It was a good day for the beach: HOT! Lory, Jay, Cory & I started the day at The Loop for shopping at Sports Authority. Next stop: Costcos. Both were successful visits. Then we headed to Downtown Disney for MY favorite: a tuna melt at The Earl of Sandwich....fun & yum.....WOW! We walked the entire length of this fantasy village. Whew! Time to seek a resting spot so we hopped aboard one of their water taxis. This one took us to the Port Orleans resort. We strolled through their French Quarter setting looking longingly at their beautiful swimming pool. The folks were having such fun. I actually gave it a second thought about just jumping in fully clothed but managed to refrain from this scene catcher. Back on the boat, we sailed past the Disney Treehouses to the Disney Village. They looked like an exciting place to stay but probably cost a mega amount for one night. We went back to the condo for supper at the

lobby grill but still no Fabers....they were having too much fun on the hot, sunny sands. There was entertainment at the pool: Dueling Pianos. We stayed for their performance; enjoying and singing along with these talented musicians. Jim came along after their intermission and joined us. It was a fun day for all. Tomorrow, the families are going to Disney's Animal Kingdom. Our day will be spent tearing down and finding places to put away the multitude of decorations and trinkets that adorn our Motor Home. It makes it so homey & cozy but what a challenge to pack up!! We both agree at this time: we bring too much stuff! Way TOO much!
