having fun in the south

So I flew from Grand Turk to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida with my friend Aly. It was a 2 hour flight we had a great time just laughing and having fun. Once arriving in Florida I had a 26 hour lay over there before my flight to Toronto. Aly was to fly out to Detroit after a 4 hour lay over. So we decide to go to the bar for a couple drinks. We went to a bar called Waxy’s it’s a Irish bar. I was familiar with the bar from my last stay in Ft. Lauderdale. So we had a couple red wines after a few Aly wanted to stay so we could go to the bars that night. So she phoned the airline and cancelled her ticket for that night and booked another ticket for the morning. So Aly phone a friend from school that moved down to Ft. Lauderdale. So Eric came and picked us up and we headed out to the bar. We went to a some bars downtown, we had a blast. Going from bar to bar. Later into the night it went from having beer’s and wine to having tequila shots. 1 tequila , 2 tequila, 3 tequila and for Aly she went floor. Aly had a hard night at the bar, she passed out so we took her back home to bed. Well I knew Aly had to be at the airport at 7:00 for her flight so I set the alarm clock next to her head. Also opened the phone book to the taxi cab section and put money in her wallet for the cab ( nice friend). Well the only thing that happened in the morning the alarm didn’t go off and she woke up to late. She missed her flight again!!!!! It was the funniest thing so she had to phone the airline and book another flight.
So instead of her fly home we decide to go to the beach. We laid on the beach and went to a restaurant on the beach and had huge Margaritas. After a nice day in the sun we head to the airport for our fights out. And I was on my way to the next place Toronto, Canada.
