Hi everyone, Here are some pictures I took driving from Utah to Page, Arizona. We are seeing these ‘truck campers’ everywhere. Apparently you can rent them if you don’t own a camper. Good idea if you have never been camping before and are not sure if you will like it. Also a good idea if you are just planning to use it once in a while. Hi everyone, Yellowstone National Park is BEAUTIFUL!!! If you decide to visit the area you NEED at least 3 days just to see the highlights in the park. There are LOTS of great fishing areas, so bring your waders, if you fish. A couple of observations I made while visiting the park: Apparently, there must have been a fire in Yellowstone. Jim says he thought he remembered hearing about one a couple of years ago. Anyway, the first thing we saw when we drove in was miles of dead & blackened trees. After hearing me talk about this trip for the last 6 months, I'm finally leaving today. The last few weeks have been both fun and hectic as I tried to spend time with friends and also reduce my life's belongings down to a single backpack. I spent Labor Day week up at Cape Cod with my friends Steven and Gina Gauthier from New Hampshire. We started out on Wednesday, Sept. 5 at 8:40 am. and ended up that night at the ‘Wally-Mart RV Resort’ (Wal-Mart parking lot, for those of you who don’t RV) in Clarion, PA. Hi all, Here we go again (yaaaa…finally). We anticipate leaving CT on 9/5. We loaded all of our clothes and non-perishables in the RV today. This is our ‘tentative’ itinerary. From the moment I stepped off the plane in Bangkok to the last call for passengers to board back to JFK, I never heard a single Thai, Laotian, or Cambodian complain much about anything. It’s not in their Buddhist nature to raise a ruckus. 12Aug07 - Rode from Stamford to Providence (Airport) As I packing up my motorbike infront of the Westin (Diehard) Hotel, I chatted with two grannys sitting on bench waiting for their ride. Big tear for the day. Today is both blissful sunset and a mysterious horizon. Blessing after 4 years I finally get a vacation never mind out of New England. Sad as I just drop Whitney off at the airport. Sadly that is the last Chicago Run I will ever be taking. Last trip to the air museum. Change is hard when truely care but I would rather know loss then never care at all. Friday night (last weekend)before end first session we had banquet night, like a buffet and (fake) champagne, everything was beautiful and the kids, especially the girls, dressed up pretty! After this fabulous meal, we had the dance, which was going to be going all night long, till sunrise...
