Finally here. Tomorrow I'm taking a flight from JFK to Athens. Needless to say I'm very excited. Easily as excited as I've ever been. Maybe even more so, although it hasn't truly hit me yet. I'm sure it will when I step off the plane in Athens. As you probably know I'll be traveling alone. It's a little intimidating but I think I'd rather have it this way. The time is near, my second trip to Southeast Asia... Vietnam, the Delta. I will be traveling with my friend Xuan, from My Tho. We have places to go, people to see and things to do . t-minus 7 hours and counting Mark and I leave tonight for our 2 month jaunt across the globe and without a doubt, it is going to be incredible. Tonight we leave from JFK and head for our first stop in Iceland. We arrive at 6:30 on Sunday morning and we pick up our rental car and head off. Tomorrow will be the 1st day of my trip. I will be going into work (BOO!) till 12:30. My family and I will then leave at 2 pm (hopefully lol my family is NEVER on time except of course my aunts). Our flight is out of JFK at 7:50. This means like 5 hours of killing time in the airport. THANK GOD it's a big one. I am very excited and nervous at the same time. Karly and I are flying into Prague tomorrow evening via Zurich. We arrive Thursday June 2 and will be going to Poland (Auschwitz and Krakow), Slovakia, Vienna, and Budapest before she leaves on June 13. after those few days in princeton i felt rejuvenated enough to head up to new haven, connectitut where i'm hanging out in cafes sending out job email and applications for work and seeing what turns up. and i really do need to get back into exercise and i love running. everyone here is saying how mild the winters are and i simply have to agree - just too hot to run with a shirt on...
