As we turn our trailer Eastward, we must collect our thoughts about this journey, and especially what is has meant to the kids. But that will take time. When Max was hiking in Bryce Canyon he told us that his eyes had been hungry before the trip, and at Bryce they felt full. We wish that every family we know can find a way to sleep under the stars like nomads sometime. Zoya and Max are writing away. Preparing for presentations to their classes in NY will be a good gathering and processing time.
Some photos here reflect recent experiences in Utah, the UK and Colorado.
To catch you up: The show (Woody Sez) went beautifully in Brighton, which is a marvellous seaside English town. The kids and Olga took a day trip to London and saw Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and Big Ben. We also went to Lewes, a castle town in the heart of the Downs, which are the hilly meadows in the south of England. Then we flew back to Denver. On returning to the States, we were greeted with Kelly and Susan's warmth and generosity in Colorado Springs; we celebrated Max and Olga's birthday (May 16th)
with them, and then they flew to Hawaii and left us their house!!! Thanks guys!
Max: Today we hiked in Rocky Mountain National Park to a trail that leads to a big beautiful waterfall. We watched the tumbling waters and birds flying alongside. The birds were some AMAZING colors like red, blue, and a greenish brown. There were elk, mule deer, pikas (little mice-type creatures) and snow! We didn't miss the winter after all! I got snow in my boots and it made my skin sting because it was so cold!I ate the snow too! A trailer guy came with all these methods about the hot water system and they worked! A guy who actually fixed something! I am looking forward to seeing my friends in June!

Hi all,
The photos are amazing and Max and Zoya, you look fantastic! It is truly amazing all the experiences you are having.
Anna told me ( at one of her lessons) about Jenny's passing, and i am so sorry for all of your loss. I know you all loved her so much! What a blessed dog she was to live with you all...and to get to be a city and country dog!
much love to you all.
