Sean & Drew
Statue by the Estes library We spent today walking around town through the shops. We also took 2 hours to do a horseback ride into Rocky Mountain National Park with Jackson Stables out of the YMCA in Estes Park. Amazing scenery, some trotting (which Mary Ann didn't expect), and lots of narrow trails up and down some very steep areas. Sean rode Renegade, Drew rode Redneck, Mary Ann rode Noodle, and Dean rode Uno. Noodle was most interested in getting fly swatted by Redneck's tail and eating and Uno wasn't really interested in riding unless he was told to. The ride was a lot of fun and took us to spots we normally wouldn't see in the park. When we got back to our hotel we were surprised to see the guests waiting for us in the parking lot and grazing on the grass. A number of Elk that decided to cross the road and see if the grass was really greener.
