We spent most of the day riding through Rocky Mountain National Park taking in the beautiful mountain vistas. The weather was sunny and in the mid 60s when we left Estes and went down to the 50s as we increased in elevation through the park. There was a lot of Elk visible in the park - mostly laying down a good distance from the road. We walked on a few trails to see the mountains a bit clearer. And as we have in the past we stopped at the Continental Divide as we always marvel that water flows in 2 different directions at this spot. Saw lots of motorcycles - Dean's sending a note to Santa for his 50th birthday. And we also saw a lot of bicycles - it's hard to believe that they climb those elevations at that altitude but more power to them. To top off the day we took the aerial tramway in Estes to the top of the mountain to get a better view of the town and the Stanley hotel. And as all good days end the boys hopped in the pool at the hotel before settling in for the night.
