Walking in a 50ft sphere of visibility most of the way up.
Today, we woke up to fog. There was a slight possibility of sun at first, but that quickly dispersed. Podo eventually decided to go for it - hike to the summit of (one of the) Twin Sisters Peaks. He did a great job, finishing it in about 3 hours (the book says 4). Lobelia read Fellowship of the Ring and tended the fire. We are at Starbucks right now entering the blog for today and soon we will go back to our campsite and feast on mac 'n cheese and mashed potatoes (I know, it sounds weird). Tomorrow am we start back, going through the Black Hills and ending up at Kadoca SD for the night. One more blog entry and then home to MN. We like MN, even though it doesn't have mountains.

Over there in the mist is Longs Peak. I was lucky to catch a break in the weather.
