Oshkosh and Julie

Hi Everyone!
I apologize for the late blog this time. A lot has been going on! We had a great trip to New Jersey and it was awesome to see you all!! After getting home to Colorado, we left for Oshkosh Airventure in Oshkosh, WI and volunteered in the missions aviation tent. This year, Oshkosh featured missionary aviation so that was an incredible opportunity. On our way home, we've stopped in Burnsville, MN (where we are right now) to say hi to you all and visit the churches that support us here.
We have a major prayer request right now. The directors of YWAM Aviation are Ray and Julie, as many of you have heard us mention previously. Julie is very seriously ill due to complications from a parasite she contracted overseas. They have four kids under the age of 10 who are going through a lot with their mom sick. The YWAM Aviation Flight Training Academy for this fall has been put on hold which is a heartache for them and very difficult to do but very necessary in the face of these difficult health problems. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
This raised some questions for us initially, but things are starting to smooth out. Ryan is still able to continue flight training even without the official school going on, and we can still continue to work on staff. The most important thing to us right now is to be there through this with Ray and Julie and for Ryan to continue training.
For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6
He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he. Deuteronomy 32:4
God is so faithful. He has never been unfaithful, not even once. He sticks it out. He completes everything he starts. He is my Rock, the source of all strength. Praise Him!!
We have been so blessed by all of you these past two months! It has been a rich time seeing all our family and friends. Thank you for your encouragement and support!! We pray that you are all blessed tremendously as you enjoy the end of the summer.
