Our friend peter decided to visit on his way back from a rafting trip in Idaho. Once again we got a chance to show of the town to a new comer.

In the park by our house is the trail head for a very steep, 1 mile hike that brings you up to the "Royal Arch," a very famous rock formation in Boulder.

We took a trip into Denver to show Peter the "big city" and to go to a Rockies baseball game. The game was a battle for last place between the two lowest ranked teams in the league, but it was still a lot of fun. This is the sunset over the the Rockies.

It was strange to be able to buy tickets just before the game for only 9 dollars each. A big difference from Redsox games, where the whole season sells out in less than 20 minutes.
