Well, I got back to the San Francisco Bay Area and am getting acclimated again to life here. Tom and I have had two lovely weekends since my return: one camping for 3 nights at the City of Berkeley's camp at Echo Lake (near Lake Tahoe in the Sierras); the other a wedding in Healdsburg (Sonoma wine country) and a half a day at Bodega and Bodega Bay on the Coast.

I hope you enjoy the photos!

Great familiar scenes
Hi Hilary! In two weeks I'll be backpacking above Echo Lakes, and staying a night at a cabin near Fallen Leaf... and last month I visited that famous Freestone Bakery. And we know Healdsburg well. Haven't seen the Hitchcock Museum tho' You do seem to be enjoying the best of both... or should say "all"...worlds. We'll be back in Paris for two weeks in October. Cheers

Hi Peter, Thanks for the nice comment. The bride was also beautiful, but the beautiful woman with Tom and me is actually his daughter-in-law and the wife of the best man (Tom's son). See you back in Paris over the Xmas holidays. A big "hi" to everyone at UUFP!
